A calmer place to start
When you’re struggling, it can be hard to know where to begin. MindHealthy brings together simple tools and trustworthy information in one gentle, private place.
What we believe
- Help should be free and immediate. No sign-up walls, no paywalls. Every tool works the moment you open it.
- Your mind is your business. No ads, no tracking, no selling data. If you choose to sync, your entries are encrypted before they’re stored.
- Information should be trustworthy. Our guides draw on the NHS and established UK mental health charities, and we link to our sources.
- Crisis support is always one tap away. Every page links to urgent help and free UK helplines.
What MindHealthy is, and isn’t
MindHealthy offers self-help tools and general information. It isn’t a medical service, can’t diagnose, and isn’t monitored by clinicians. Nobody reads what you write in the tools. That’s why we always point to people who can help if you need more support.
The approaches behind the tools
Our tools are based on well-established techniques: slow breathing and grounding for calming the body’s stress response, mood tracking and thought records from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), expressive writing, the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 questionnaires used across NHS services, and the Stanley-Brown safety planning approach.
